The Sacred Order of Knights celebrate 25 years of great fun, fairplay, and good friends.

Founded in late 1999 by our first King SOK_Arthur, we are still in our 4th Dynasty. Challenged by the evolution of the Age of Empires series, we have prevailed through thick and thin maintaining a firm grip in the Age of Empires II: the Conquerors Expansion and Definitive Edition community and have never disbanded.

Originally founded at the MS-Gaming Zone, we've staked our claim at Ensemble Studios Online, Gamepark, the International Gaming Zone, Voobly and now Steam and have always been a World Wide Clan.

Sure, some of our oldskewlers have moved on in their lives, still many remain and others return on and off over the years. We embrace the legacy they have left us as we make it our own, old and new.

Recruiting is open to all AoC and AoE2DE enthusiasts alike all within the Age of Empires community.
We only consider those with good sportsmanship, who enjoy playing the game, "Age of Empires" for the fun of the game and who can keep in mind, that it is just a game. If you think you are able to contribute to SOK/TSOK for this cause, then read King's Law from the menu to the left and contact our King, Kilzalot, to enlist. King Kilzalot can be found playing AoE2DE on Steam still using the username Kilzalot with the [TSOK] clan tag. Occasionally, seen returning to Voobly now and then to hookup with his old friends and new recruits.

You can find many SOKs playing AoC at VOOBLY where Legion Clan has put up servers to accommodate the lost community once seen on the MS-Gaming Zone. Their system is quite attractive, user-friendly, cheat resistant, and really works quite well. It's very impressive and resembles the good ol' MSN Gaming Zone client with extra features, including a resolution patch for today's wide-screen displays.

Most of us now are at Steam enjoying the many great features Steam has to offer with all the new civilizations packed into the Definitive Edition developed since the Forgotten Empires. Some of the new features to take advantage of are: the much smarter villagers who can follow a large re-tasking list to stay busy and to deter becoming a useless idle villy. Military units are also capable of following several waypoints. Be sure to master all the hotkeys. You can even create custom hotkeys. This takes all the busy work out of your micro-management, so you can better run your campaign to destroy your enemies. As your King as well as our website author, developer, webmaster, and Host, thinks this makes the game much more fun with lots less work.

Those of you who are playing at Steam just need to be lucky enough and take advantage and accept the invitation you received from either myself or one of my trusted admins playing at Steam. If you haven't received an invitation to join [TSOK] just friend: Kilzalot and send him a message with your request and a reason why you think you'd be an asset to our beloved clan, and I'm sure with consideration you will be invited.

This move to STEAM has caused a pandemic in the Realm. There are many vacant Castles direly in need of a Lord to be sent out on the quest to revitalize his fief and repopulate his fiefdom.
If you are interested in ruling your own Castle, reach out to me for consideration to be Knighted and sent on your quest. Maybe one day, you too will be included as one of our most honored Knights. Although don't be discouraged if you aren't selected to be on this list in the menu on the left, given their own webpage. Those listed there have achieved Greatness and proven their value to the Realm over and over for a long time and have waited patiently to be recognized with this honour.

All new recruits are welcomed to Castle Camelot, the residence of His Majesty our King Kilzalot at the Center of Avalon. These recruits are employed as Mercenaries and guided by the Royal Mercenaries who have proven themselves worthy as victors of the joust.
